Mental Health Awareness Day
10th of October marks Mental Health Awareness Day, I want to talk about 3 things today
Today, CALM partnered with Love Island Chris Hughes to produce a video to raise awareness for Male Suicide, those who don’t know suicide is the biggest killer in Men under 45.
Their video combined my 2 favorite things Mental Health and Marketing.
Take a look at it they killed it.
CALM touch about in the video and it couldn’t be more truthful – but people don’t talk to each other about how they are feeling. People prefer to bottle up their emotions or put a stiff upper lip on and move on with their day.
Used today to think about yourself and whether you can talk to someone about how you feel because the reality is, people will be feeling very similar to you – all the problems we face are common and together opening up about our issue we can overcome them.
When things get tough – like they always do for people it is important to have a release. People have these in different avenues, find yours, the activty which allows you to release all the anxiety and tension from your body and mind.
And do it with a smile on your face.
Learning to love yourself is they key to happiness – love who you are and what you do.
I’m always here to talk if anyone ever needs me
